Put WhatsApp on Your Website: How UAE Businesses Get More Leads

People collaborating on laptops, the kind of conversation WhatsApp starts from a website

In the UAE, WhatsApp is how people buy. A website without clear click-to-chat — in the header, the hero, and a sticky mobile button — is asking visitors to fill a form they will abandon. Make the chat the main action and enquiries usually jump without extra traffic.

This is the highest-ROI change I make on existing sites. Not a new brand. Not more pages. Just removing friction between “I want this” and a conversation with you.

How click-to-chat should work

  • Use a wa.me link with your full number, no leading zero: 971524867767.
  • Pre-fill a message: “Hi, I want a quote for [service].” You get context; they do not stare at a blank chat.
  • Same number on the site, Google profile and ads. Split numbers kill trust.

Where to put it (so it gets used)

  1. Header — always visible.
  2. Hero — next to the main headline.
  3. Sticky round button on mobile (does not cover the whole screen).
  4. Service pages, near the price or offer.
  5. Thank-you / contact page as a backup to the form.

This is the same pattern I use across ITZ — see the contact page and lead-conversion guide.

Site looks fine but the phone is not ringing? Let's add WhatsApp the right way.

Fix My WhatsApp Buttons

What not to do

A third-party widget that loads late, shifts the layout and tracks users for no reason. A number that is text-only (not tappable). Hiding WhatsApp because “we prefer email.” Your customers do not prefer email.

Frequently asked questions

WhatsApp or a contact form?

Both — WhatsApp first. UAE buyers already live there. Keep a short form for people who want to write a longer brief.

Where should the button sit?

Header, hero, sticky on mobile, and next to the offer on service pages. One number, pre-filled message.

I'll wire WhatsApp, calls and the form so every tap reaches +971 52 486 7767 — or your number.
