This is not a copied EU GDPR template. It is written for a UAE freelance studio under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL): collect less, say what you collect, and make it easy to ask for deletion.

What we collect, and why
We collect personal data only to reply to a project enquiry. We do not sell lists, run remarketing pixels on this site, or buy ads against your details.
Contact form
The form on Contact asks for name, phone or WhatsApp, email, service, budget range and a short project note. Submitting it opens WhatsApp on your device with that text. The details are not saved to a database on this website. They sit in the WhatsApp message you send to +971 52 486 7767, and then in our chat and notes so we can quote and deliver the work.
On-site assistant
The assistant answers from this site’s published pages. If you ask for a quote or leave contact details, it may ask for name, email and a UAE mobile, with a consent box that is not pre-ticked. That session is stored in your browser (sessionStorage) until you close the tab. If you choose WhatsApp handoff, we receive the topics you asked about plus the details you typed — not a dump of the assistant’s replies.
Calls, WhatsApp and email
If you write, call or tap WhatsApp yourself, we keep the conversation and whatever you send (briefs, logos, access notes) so we can do the job. We do not scrape chats into a marketing spreadsheet.
When we take on a project
A scoped job may need extra files: brand assets, copy, hosting logins, invoices, trade-licence details you choose to share. We use those to design, build, host or invoice. We do not ask for Emirates ID or passport copies unless a payment or domain registrar genuinely requires them — and we say so first.
Cookies and third parties
This site does not set its own marketing or analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics tag and no ad pixel on these pages.
- Google Fonts — type is loaded from Google’s servers. Google may see your IP and set its own cookies. You can block third-party requests in the browser; the site still works with system fonts.
- Google Maps — the embed on Contact is Google’s iframe. Opening it, or the Maps link, is Google’s service, under Google’s privacy policy.
- WhatsApp / Meta — when a chat continues on WhatsApp, Meta processes that conversation under their terms. Use a number you are happy to message from.
- Hosting — the web server keeps ordinary access logs (IP, page, time) for security and uptime. Those are not used for advertising.
We do not run a cookie wall because we are not dropping marketing cookies. If that changes, this page will say so before any pixel goes live.
How long we keep it
Enquiry chats and quote notes are kept while we are talking, then for a reasonable period in case you come back (typically up to two years, or longer if we have an active project, invoice or legal need). Browser assistant data clears when you close the tab. Project files stay for as long as we maintain the site or you still need handover copies — then we delete or return them on request.
Who we share with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only when needed to reply or to deliver work you asked for — for example a domain registrar, a host, or a payment provider you choose. WhatsApp and Google are processors for the tools named above. We will not put your enquiry on a public case study without asking.
Your rights (UAE PDPL)
You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it for a live project, tax or a legal claim. Email hello@itz.ae or WhatsApp +971 52 486 7767. We will not make you tick a box you never saw. Complaints about PDPL can also go to the UAE Data Office.
Children
This site is for businesses hiring web design and development. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If how we collect data changes, we update this page and the date at the top. The current version is always at webdesign.itz.ae/privacy.html.
